Breaking 90 feels different.

You've probably hit some good shots.

Maybe even some great ones.

You've started figuring a few things out.

And then golf reminds you there's still plenty left to learn.

For a lot of golfers, breaking 90 is where:
consistency starts to matter
course management becomes important
mistakes get more expensive
and one bad hole can change an entire round

So if you're chasing 89 or better...

This thread is for you.

Where are you in the journey?

What's helping?

What's holding you back?

And what's the one thing you think will finally get you there?

Drop your progress below.

Let's hear it.
Sometimes the difference between 91 and 89 feels a lot bigger than two shots.

For me, breaking 90 feels like the next major mountain.

I've had rounds where I thought:
"Okay... I can see it."

Then a few holes later golf politely reminds me that we're not there yet.

The biggest thing I'm learning is that breaking 90 doesn't seem to be about hitting more great shots.

It's about making fewer bad decisions.

Fewer hero shots.

Fewer doubles.

Fewer moments where I convince myself that a shot has a much higher chance of success than reality suggests.

Golf has a funny way of rewarding patience.

Unfortunately, patience isn't always my strongest club.

Still working on it.

One round at a time.
