Where golfers get better – together
[Sticky] Road to breaking 100
Breaking 100 feels like one of the first BIG milestones in golf.
And honestly…
it can feel impossible right up until the moment it finally happens.
One good hole turns into two.
One solid stretch keeps the round alive.
Then golf reminds you who’s in charge.
But eventually things start clicking:
fewer blow-up holes
better decisions
less panic
more confidence
smarter misses
fewer “hero shots” that become disasters
So if you’re chasing it -
this thread is for you.
Where are you currently at in the journey?
What’s helping?
What’s hurting?
What part of the game feels closest…
and what still feels completely impossible?
Let’s hear where your game is at.
One good round can change everything.

Honestly, someone told me “playing bogey” is good.
I’m still not convinced.
One of the biggest things I’m learning is that breaking 100 usually has less to do with perfect golf…
and more to do with avoiding complete disasters.
The less I try to force hero shots and “make up” for bad holes, the better my rounds seem to go.
Still working on convincing myself of that DURING the round though.
Golf likes testing that theory immediately.
