What is The Amateur Players Tour (TAPT)

What is The Amateur Players Tour (TAPT)
The Amateur Players Tour (TAPT) is a competitive amateur golf league built for golfers who love the game… and keep coming back, even after that round.

Modeled after the spirit of professional tours, TAPT brings together amateur golfers of all skill levels to compete in structured events held on a variety of courses — each presenting its own strategy, challenges, and memorable moments.
(Some more memorable than others…)

But TAPT isn’t just about the leaderboard.
(If it were, we’d all have quit by now.)

It’s about the experience of the game:
• The anticipation on the first tee
• The quiet focus over a difficult putt
• The occasional heroic shot… and the occasional triple bogey (that came out of nowhere)
• The conversations walking up the fairway or riding in the cart (some of them slightly exaggerated)

Players compete in events throughout the season while tracking results, standings, and progress — much like a professional tour, but with the perspective and camaraderie that make amateur golf what it is.

At its core, TAPT celebrates what makes golf great:
competition, improvement, and the love of the game.

It’s a place where you can test your game, learn something new, and enjoy the challenge — whether you’re chasing birdies or just trying to keep the same ball for more than a few holes.
(Not always guaranteed.)

Because in the end, every round adds another chapter to the journey.
Some chapters go better than others… but they’re all part of getting better.

TAPT Motto
Play the course. Compete with friends. Improve every round.
