[Sticky] Post your breakthroughs
Not every breakthrough comes with a trophy.
Or a personal best score.
Sometimes it's something much smaller.
And for me...
Those are often the moments that keep us coming back.
Maybe you:
- made your first birdie
- broke 100
- broke 90
- hit a draw on purpose
- survived a bunker
- figured out your driver
- stopped slicing every tee shot
- made a long putt
- finally understood something you've been working on
Big or small.
A breakthrough is a breakthrough.
Let's celebrate it.
Drop yours below.
Let's hear it.
Small changes. Better golf.
For me, one of the biggest breakthroughs wasn't a score.
It was realizing that slowing down actually works.
I spent a long time trying to swing harder and faster, create more power, and FORCE better shots.
The funny thing is that the harder I tried, the worse things usually got.
Lately I've started focusing more on tempo, pausing at the top of my backswing, and letting the swing happen (trusting my swing).
And for the first time, things are starting to feel repeatable.
Not perfect.
Not every swing.
Not every round.
But enough to notice a difference.
That feels like a breakthrough to me.
Golf has a funny way of making small improvements feel invisible until one day you realize you're doing something better than you were a few months ago.
