Where golfers get better – together
Favorite training aid?
Golf training aids are everywhere.
Swing trainers.
Putting gadgets.
Alignment sticks.
Tempo trainers.
Mats.
Nets.
Devices that promise to fix things you didn't even know were broken.
Some are fantastic.
Some become very expensive garage decorations.
So let's hear it.
What's your favorite training aid?
Could be:
- swing trainers
- putting aids
- alignment tools
- launch monitors
- nets
- mats
- mirrors
- or anything else that's actually helped your game
What worked?
What didn't?

Let's hear it.
Bonus points if it's something you still use instead of something currently collecting dust in the garage.
For me, it's easily my Voice Caddie launch monitor.
I've bought a few golf gadgets over time, but this is one of the few that actually changed how I practice.
Before I had it, I'd hit balls into my backyard net and make a lot of assumptions.
That felt good.
That one felt solid.
That one probably went farther.
The problem is "probably" isn't very useful.
Now I can see:
* carry distance
* ball speed
* shot data
* and how consistent I actually am
The biggest game changer though was pairing it with my phone and recording my swing.
Being able to watch the swing and see the launch data at the same time helped me connect what I felt with what was actually happening.
As it turns out...
Those weren't always the same thing.
Golf has a funny way of teaching humility.
But at least now I have data to prove it.
