Golf has a reputation for being expensive.

And let's be honest...

Sometimes it earns that reputation.

But every now and then you buy something that actually helps your game, makes golf more enjoyable, or simply makes you wonder why you didn't buy it sooner.

So let's hear it.

What's the best golf purchase you've made for under $100?

Could be:
a club
a training aid
a rangefinder
a putting mat
golf balls
a glove
an app
a gadget
or something completely unexpected

No wrong answers.

Sometimes the best golf purchases aren't the expensive ones.

Drop yours below.

Let's hear it.
Bonus points if it helped more than something that cost ten times as much.

For me, it's easy.

A quality putting mat.

Not because it magically fixed my putting.

And definitely not because I suddenly started making everything.

But because it removed the excuse of not being able to practice - inside or outside.

A few minutes here and there at home adds up faster than I expected.

Plus, it's a lot easier to roll a few putts in the house than it is to drive to the course every time I want to work on something.

Now whether I actually use it as often as I should...

That's a completely different discussion.
