I’ll kick this off.

First off - seriously appreciate you being here.

Bogey To Scratch is something I started because I wanted golf to feel more understandable, less intimidating, and a little more relatable for the golfers stuck somewhere in the middle.

Not complete beginners.

Not scratch golfers talking about spin rates over Monster energy drinks.

Just golfers trying to improve without losing their minds in the process.

This community is meant to be:
* relaxed
* helpful
* honest
* encouraging
* and realistic about how difficult this game actually is.

There’s going to be:
* good rounds
* bad rounds
* random breakthroughs
* swing thoughts that last 12 minutes
* and probably a few emotional recoveries after triple bogeys.

That’s golf.

Would genuinely love feedback as this community grows:

* What would you like to see more of?
* What would make this forum helpful?
* What topics should we cover?
* What would make you actually WANT to come back here?

Drop your thoughts below.

Let’s build something fun together.

Because golf is frustrating enough already.

Welcome to Bogey To Scratch

Glad you’re here.

BTS started because I realized golf can feel really overwhelming when you’re trying to learn or improve.

Especially if:
* you didn’t grow up playing (or being athletic)
* you started later in life
* you’re trying to get better without making golf feel like a second job
* or you’re stuck somewhere between “beginner” and “actually decent.”

A lot of golf content feels like it’s built for:
* complete beginners
* or scratch golfers who casually carry a 2 handicap while explaining launch angles.

There didn’t seem to be much for the golfers in the middle.

The ones trying to figure it out as they go.

That’s really what BTS is about:
* real improvement
* realistic expectations
* fewer swing thoughts
* smarter practice
* better decisions
* and learning this ridiculous game one round at a time.

This forum is meant to feel like a community, not a lecture hall.

Ask questions.
Share frustrations.
Share progress.
Talk golf.
Celebrate good rounds.
Complain about bad ones.

We’ve all been there.

And if golf hasn’t humbled you yet…

Give it time.
