                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For me, it's easily my Voice Caddie launch monitor.<br /><br />I've bought a few golf gadgets over time, but this is one of the few that actually changed how I practice.<br /><br />Before I had it, I'd hit balls into my backyard net and make a lot of assumptions.<br /><br />That felt good.<br /><br />That one felt solid.<br /><br />That one probably went farther.<br /><br />The problem is "probably" isn't very useful.<br /><br />Now I can see:<br />* carry distance<br />* ball speed<br />* shot data<br />* and how consistent I actually am<br /><br />The biggest game changer though was pairing it with my phone and recording my swing.<br /><br />Being able to watch the swing and see the launch data at the same time helped me connect what I felt with what was actually happening.<br /><br />As it turns out...<br />Those weren't always the same thing.<br /><br />Golf has a funny way of teaching humility.<br /><br />But at least now I have data to prove it.</p>]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For me, my bag is still very much a work in progress.<br /><br />I went from a beginner set to getting completely pumped up about a TaylorMade driver, irons, and putter.<br /><br />These days I'm carrying clubs that fit my game a lot better than what I started with.<br /><br />While better clubs didn't magically turn me into Rory McIlroy, they definitely made a difference. They were more forgiving and gave me a confidence boost every time I stood over the ball.<br /><br />And every time I think my bag is finally set...<br /><br />I see a new club, a new review, or hear somebody talk about a club they love and suddenly I'm "just doing research."<br /><br />The funny thing is I've learned that confidence in the club matters almost as much as the club itself.<br /><br />If I stand over a shot feeling good about what's in my hands, things usually go a lot better.<br /><br />Now whether that's the club or me convincing myself it's the club...<br /><br />The jury is still out on that one.</p>]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For me, one of the biggest breakthroughs wasn't a score.<br /><br />It was realizing that slowing down actually works.<br /><br />I spent a long time trying to swing harder and faster, create more power, and FORCE better shots.<br /><br />The funny thing is that the harder I tried, the worse things usually got.<br /><br />Lately I've started focusing more on tempo, pausing at the top of my backswing, and letting the swing happen (trusting my swing).<br /><br />And for the first time, things are starting to feel repeatable.<br /><br />Not perfect.<br /><br />Not every swing.<br /><br />Not every round.<br /><br />But enough to notice a difference.<br /><br />That feels like a breakthrough to me.<br /><br />Golf has a funny way of making small improvements feel invisible until one day you realize you're doing something better than you were a few months ago.</p>]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For me?<br /><br />Absolutely not.<br /><br />I know putting is important.<br /><br />I've heard:<br />"Drive for show, putt for dough."<br /><br />I've watched the videos.<br /><br />I've seen how many shots happen on the green.<br /><br />And yet somehow...<br />When I have an hour to practice, my brain immediately wants to hit full shots.<br /><br />Driver.<br /><br />Irons.<br /><br />Anything that makes me feel like I'm improving faster.<br /><br />Meanwhile, putting sits there quietly waiting to remind me that scoring happens on the greens.<br /><br />The funny thing is that every time I actually spend time practicing putting, I walk away realizing how important speed control and consistency really are.<br /><br />Then a week goes by and I'm back trying to gain five extra yards with my driver.<br /><br />Golf does a great job of teaching the same lesson repeatedly.<br /><br />Still learning that one.</p>]]></content:encoded>

The good news is you're already at a 15, which means shaving a few three-putts and converting a few more makeable putts can add up fast.<br /><br />Also, if a new putter automatically fixed speed control, I'd probably own six of them by now.</p>]]></content:encoded>
